With Halloween approaching, what could be more appropriate than celebrating Halloween in the Nation's Oldest City? However, with young children, Halloween can be a scary event, so there are plenty of child-friendly festivities here!

Creatures of the Night at St. Augustine Alligator Farm

From October 18-20, kids can enjoy trick-or-treating in costumes while exploring the zoo and meeting creepy critters like insects and reptiles. This event is perfect for families who want a unique Halloween experience that combines wildlife education with festive fun.

Trick-or-Treating on St. George Street

On October 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., families can stroll along the historic pedestrian-only St. George Street, where local businesses will hand out candy. Participating shops will be marked with Halloween balloons, creating a festive atmosphere for young trick-or-treaters.

Colonial Haunt: The Lost Garrison

From October 29-31, this mildly spooky haunted experience at the Colonial Quarter will be suitable for all ages. Families can walk through the historic area while encountering creative Halloween scenes and gentle scares, making it a fun option for younger children.

Sykes Family Farms Corn Maze

offers a fun and festive fall experience for families. Running from October 5 to 27, 2024, visitors can enjoy exploring the expansive corn maze, as well as other activities like hayrides, a playground, and farm animals. It’s the perfect autumn outing for all ages.
