Washington Oaks State Park

While most visitors to St. Augustine experience the historic and surrounding areas, there is a spot just a bit further south on A1A that we recommend a visit to called Washington Oaks State Park. This unique park boasts gorgeous formal gardens where one can spend a day strolling in awe, take a picnic, and learn the history of the park at the visitor's center. Also on the property is a coquina shorelined beach with incredible rock formations and tidal pools.

Hours: 8am-Sundown, 365 Days a Year
