Castillo de San Marcos

Perhaps the most iconic of all St. Augustine historic attractions is the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument (or "The Fort" to the locals). Visitors to the fort can explore over 340 years of history within the walls, marvel at the coquina construction, and take in sweeping views from the top of the lookout.
